While you can create a PayPal donate link on the fly, you may also want to create a PayPal donate button. One advantage of creating a donate button is that you can embed the button on a web page. PayPal shows an easily-recognizable yellow PayPal Donate button on your web page that clearly signals to prospective donors that they can click it to donate.

Whether linking a card or a bank account, if the donor only wants to enter credit card/account details once, she will have to create a PayPal or GMG account to store the account details to use in subsequent donations.
